The role of the physiotherapist encompassess human movement and function to it’s maximum potential. In the NHS setting, physiotherapists will cover various areas of healthcare including intensive care, respiratory illness, stroke rehabilitation and care for the elderly. Our physiotherapists specialise in musculo-skeletal problems.

Our approach to your treatment plan is an ‘holistic’ approach. Our aim is to help you recover from your injury or accident and in doing so will involve the skills of other health professionals (if required).
We have a strong team of chartered physiotherapists, personal trainers, exercise therapists, massage therapists and access to highly recommended chiropractors.
Each customers health is taken into account and you will only be recommended to see one of our team members if we feel that you would benefit from their expertise. This will all form part of your treatment plan at Health Performance.

Insurance Company Registered
Our physiotherapists are Chartered and State Registered. The physiotherapists are also registered and recognised by most major insurance companies. Therefore, you may be covered by your health care plan.
If you are a medical-legal association or insurance company and would like our physiotherapists to assess, review or treat your clients then please do give us a call. We welcome single case treatments or on-going health care plans.

It is believed to be the best form of heat treatment that is used to treat joint and muscle sprains, tendonitis and bursitis.

Exercise Therapy
Very effective for the rehabilitation of injuries to restore the function and movement. Depending on the nature of the injury you may find yourself working through simple movements with an elastic band, to participating in our group Pilates sessions for spinal rehabilitation.
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy uses a wide variety of techniques that primarily focus on joint structures. This form of therapy may include gentle manipulations of the spine to deep tissue massage.

Acupuncture
An effective approach to treating muscle spasms and the surrounding tissues. Using fine needles to trigger the bodies natural pain killers.
